The Continue Kindness Project is my Christmas gift to my mom next year (2015). It is my feeble attempt to show my mom that she has an impact on so many lives, starting with mine.
Here's how it works:
My mom despite repeated attempts to tell her to stop insists on giving me some money almost every week. In the past I have put this into savings. However this year, every dollar she gives me I will donate to an organization or use it to spread random acts of kindness in her name.
I will keep track of these acts of kindness in a small calendar and on this website. Next Christmas I will give her the calendar and the website address so she can see how her one act of kindness to me is used to continue kindness all around her.
As I preform the act of kindness in her name I will give out little cards with this website on it so that people can help track the acts of kindness and even print out cards of their own to keep the kindness going.
How long does this project run?
I will start the kindness on January 1st, 2015 and I will give my mom the calendar with the acts and this website on December 25, 2015.

What is the website for?
I would love to use this website as a way to track the continuing kindness this project starts and maybe even for a way for people to express their gratitude. My mom always told me that one act of kindness can change the world. I don't think this will quite do that but hopefully it will show my mom that her act of kindness and example has changed my world.
